2025 Vacation Bible School
Our 2025 True North VBS was a wonderful success! The kids and volunteers had an amazing week full of learning of Jesus's love and all of the strength his love and power give us. Below is a small snippet of the fun we had.
Sunday Morning Children's Activities
Wee Little-Ones: Our Nursery
Here at Leesburg Methodist we don’t mind baby noises in church, but if parents feel more comfortable, they are welcome to use our nursery right next to the sanctuary. It is equipped with a window to view the service, as well as speakers to hear the service. There are also beds and toys in our nursery.
Children's Time:
Early in our church service each Sunday, we have children’s time. During Children's Time Pastor Rob shares a little message, usually accompanied by a fun little lesson, with the children. Right after children’s time, they are dismissed to Children’s Church in the lower level where the children remain for the rest of the service. Here they focus on lessons more appropriate for their age.
Children's Church:
Lessons are appropriate for children preschool-age through 6th grade. Older children are welcome as helpers, if they wish. Each lesson includes a story, music videos, and a craft. Stories from the bible are interactive and applied to the everyday life of a child.
Our Children's Ministry Team:
The Leesburg Methodist Children's Ministry Team is led by Vicki Martin. She pours her heart and soul into the children of this church and we are so grateful for her! Vicki has put together a team to help make decisions and brainstorm new ideas. The team consists of: Jeanne Bowen, Lori Everest, Jeannette Stookey, and Amy Seewald.
